Chance Carden joined the RCU in 2022 as a project manager. In his role, Carden provides instructional coaching and supports secondary and innovative projects for the Mississippi Department of Education. Before joining the RCU, Carden taught English language arts and social studies courses at East Webster High School, where he was named the 2022 Webster County School District Teacher of the Year. Carden received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Mississippi and his Master of Arts degree in secondary education from Mississippi State University.
