Anna Pike joined the RCU’s professional learning and school innovation team in 2023 as a project manager who assists the implementation and promotion of the Mississippi Department of Education's statewide innovative school initiatives. Prior to joining the RCU, Pike spent eight years as a career and technical education instructor. She most recently taught Keystone and sports medicine for five years in the Starkville Oktibbeha School District (SOSD). While in the SOSD, Pike became Digital Teacher Academy certified and a Level One Google Educator. Pike’s first teaching experience came as a three-year health science and Project Lead The Way Biomedical Sciences instructor in Alabama. She transitioned to the classroom from the medical field, where she worked 15 years as a certified athletic trainer for various athletic teams in Alabama. Pike holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the Mississippi University for Women and a master’s degree in exercise science from Mississippi State University.
