Petal Construction Technology Students Selected for Paid Internship

Following an interview process in April, Petal High School students Cody Brumbaugh and Ethan Newsome began a paid internship with Southeastern Construction in Hattiesburg on June 3. Their first day on the job was followed by a parent night hosted by the company, where Patrick Ward, Keith Ulmer and Earnest Burton spoke with parents and students about the opportunities, expectations, and goals of the summer internship.

The biannual publication features students, educators, schools, and organizations from approximately 50 career pathways across 16 career clusters. This Mississippi Department of Education publication is produced by the Research and Curriculum Unit at Mississippi State University. Issues are disseminated in print and electronic forms in May and December each year.
